You can repurpose old cardboard boxes from your home. It's cost-effective and allows for customizable compartments. Here are two common DIY options:

Option 1: Repurpose Old Cardboard Boxes into Multi-Compartment Storage Boxes (Suitable for beginners, zero cost)

Tools & Materials
Old cardboard boxes (phone boxes/cookie boxes/delivery boxes are all acceptable), scissors, craft knife, wrapping paper/fabric, double-sided tape/glue, marker, ruler

Instructions
Plan the compartments: First, use a marker to evenly mark the dividing areas on the inner cardboard box. Adjust the compartment width according to the size of your makeup tools; leave the brush area wider and the cotton swab/tweezers area narrower.

Cutting and Dividing: Use a utility knife to cut out the corresponding dividers along the lines, then trim the edges with scissors. Insert the dividers into the outer cardboard box, adjust their positions, and test-place the tools. Trim any uneven areas.

Decorative Edges: Cut wrapping paper or your favorite fabric to the dimensions of the cardboard box, and use double-sided tape to evenly attach it to the outside of the box and dividers, covering any rough edges.

Assembly and Assembly: After pasting, let it dry. Then, categorize and place each makeup tool into its corresponding compartment.

If you want a drawer-style layout, you can modify an old large cardboard box: Use a large piece of cardboard as the base to glue out drawers, then make an outer frame of the corresponding size. After making three drawers, wrap them with wrapping paper and add a small handle. This makes the compartments more clearly organized.
